ppc64le partitions only

The IBM XL Compiler toolchain is only provided on ppc64le partitions/nodes (gpu, infer, test).

The IBM XL C and C++ compiler family and IBM XL Fortran compiler family are available on Bede, provided by the xl module family:

module load xl
module load xl/16.1.1
